Translating the word “Kretsstevne” “Krets” means a circle and
“stevne” means a gathering so Kretsstevne is
translated as “a circle of
friends getting together”.

The Southern California Kretsstevne will again be held at Banning Stagecoach
KOA Campground & RV Park.
The campground is a short distance south of Hwy 10
in Banning, 25 miles west of Palm Springs. The camp is
on level ground at low
elevation. On-site RVs will be available for rent. Southern California
Kretsstevne is a
weekend of Norwegian Heritage and fellowship. All Sons of
Norway members are welcome. Activities
could include a cultural slide-show
and/or DVD program(s), a craft/art activity, a silent auction, Bingo, a
museum side trip, a cooking or baking demonstration, folk dancing, and music and
singing.
